A fishing tournament with something for everyone.
The DJM Memorial Fishing tournament was created to honor a man who loved to fish. But more than catching, he valued the time with family & friends, the fun, and the memories made. On August 3, 2024 we will remember Dennis J. Mayne at the fourth annual “fair-weather fishing tournament” to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund.
We welcome anglers of all ages and skill levels for a day out on the water with friends. And while there will be recognition for the biggest fish, the real award will go to the boat who has the most fun!
Tournament Rules
Lines in at 8:00am, out at 12:00pm
Catches can be made on any tackle, assisted or unassisted — basically however you want, as long as the fish makes it into the boat
Fishing area is not limited; just be sure you make it back in time for the after party!
Largest fish will be determined by weight; Osterville Anglers Club will conduct a weigh-in outside of Crosby’s yacht yard from 12:00-3:00pm
Breaks for swimming, drinks, and snacks are encouraged!
Reception
The Tournament reception will be held at The Osterville Anglers Club from 3:00-6:00PM
Snacks & libations will be available
A silent auction will be held from 3:00-5:00pm
Fishing Awards & Silent Auction Winners will be announced at 5:00pm
Registration

Captain & Crew $500
Each boat registration includes three individuals, plus the captain. Any additional anglers can register separately. Please note: OAC Members can register at a discounted rate of $100 for a captain and three anglers.

Individual Angler $100
Captains can register additional anglers on a per head basis, or individuals can register on their own. If you need a boat assignment, please let us know and we can find a crew for you to join!

After-Party Only $50
For the most fair-weather of fair-weather fishermen. If you’re not going to make it out on the water, please join us at the reception for food, drinks, raffles (bring cash!) and a silent auction.
